| | | 21Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm with investments in the United States and Israel, announced today that ETV Motors (ETVM) was selected to present its technology to participants in the California Israel Chamber of Commerce Cleantech Mission The presentation took place today at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. ETVM is developing series-hybrid electric drive technology that will power Range-Extended Electric Vehicles and have wide applications in transport and other settings.21 Ventures, along with The Quercus Trust of Newport Beach California invested $12M in ETVM in a Series A milestone-driven round conducted in 2008. “We believe in ETV Motor’s mission to create new engine technology that will help improve the environmental impact of automobiles,” said David Anthony, Managing Partner of 21Ventures. The CICC Mission to Israel is held annually and is designed to introduce innovations, acquisition opportunities and joint ventures to interested global technology and venture capital firms.
